The soprano Agnes Lipka was born in Poland and grew up in Germany from the age of eight. After graduating from high school, she first began studying law at the University of Bonn before deciding to study opera singing at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf in 2005 (Prof. Michaela Krämer's class and Prof. Konrad Jarnot's class), which she successfully completed in 2012 completed the concert exam.

As Antonia in Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffmann, the singer first attracted attention in 2008 with her intense and passionate role portrayal in a university production in collaboration with the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. While still studying, she made her opera debut in 2011 in the title role of the little mermaid Rusalka at the Theater Krefeld/Mönchengladbach.

Agnes Lipka is characterized above all by her versatility and adaptability. In addition to opera singing, she also devotes herself to concert performance and song singing. She organized song recitals as part of the Beethoven Festival in Bonn, at the Theater Krefeld/Mönchengladbach and in St. John's Smith Square in London.

In addition, new music has also become an integral part of her concert activities; in 2018 she was a soloist in the project “Apfel und Amsel”, which opened the “Across the Boarders Cultural Festival” in Aachen. The singer performed with the Ensemble Garage as part of the Salzburg Pocket Opera Festival in the Solingen Theater in 2016 and at the Herrenhausen Art Festival in 2019.

The collaboration with the Bundeswehr Music Corps took them to the Innsbruck promenade concerts, to the Hercules Hall of the Residenz in Munich, the Arsenal in Metz, the Federal Chancellery in Berlin and, with a unique and unique crossover project, to the main stage of the Wacken Open Air Festival, where She thrilled seventy thousand metal fans with her operatic voice.

The singer, who lives in Cologne, is a regular guest at the Philharmonie Cologne and the Tonhalle Düsseldorf as well as a soloist with renowned orchestras such as the WDR Choir and the WDR Funkhausorchester, with which she performed at the Rheingau Music Festival in 2022.

Concert tours have taken her to Austria, France, Italy, Poland, Japan and South Korea.

Master classes with Agnes Giebel, Prof. Thomas Heyer, Tom Krause and Prof. Michael Hampe, among others, round off her vocal training.

Agnes Lipka is a winner of the Schmolz + Bickenbach competition and a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Association and the DAAD.
